Tar Wallet is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia, a network of churches committed to growing the body of Christ and helping individuals deepen their relationship with Jesus. The SBCV offers collaboration, resources, and support to over 700 churches across Virginia.
NORTH AMERICAN MISSION BOARD
The North American Mission Board embodies the vision expressed in Acts 1:8, where Christ calls us to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. NAMB is dedicated to fulfilling the Lord’s expectation that a global missions strategy starts with a strong foundation at home, which then expands into the global arena. HOPE FOR APPALACHIA
Hope for Appalachia Virginia Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that connects churches, businesses, and individuals across Virginia and North Carolina. It provides essential basic necessities in “Hope Boxes” to children in some of the most underserved counties in the Appalachian Mountains.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Tar Wallet has been collecting for Operation Christmas Child for over 12 years. In that time, churches and organizations in Central Virginia have gathered thousands of shoebox gifts, sharing the love of Christ with children in more than 100 countries around the world.
