Pastor Alan Gough became a part of the Tar Wallet Family in August 2021, assuming the role of Pastor. Prior to this, he served as a Southern Gospel Artist and Evangelist, sharing his talents and spreading the message of faith in various rural churches across Virginia.

In addition to providing leadership, pastoral care, and overseeing all ministries, Pastor Alan is passionate about sharing the teachings of God’s Word. He is dedicated to promoting missions, evangelism, and fostering the educational growth of youth in our community.

A devoted family man, Pastor Alan is happily married to Tammy Gough, the love of his life. Together, they are blessed with five adult children: Bryan, David, Tabitha, Shawn, and Cheyenne. Outside of their pastoral responsibilities, Alan and Tammy enjoy the beach and love exploring new destinations, cherishing the joy of travel together.
