Visiting a new church can bring a mix of excitement and nerves. It’s thrilling to experience worship, meet new faces, and learn about a church’s mission and ministries. However, you might also have questions about how to dress, where to park, and where the nursery or kids’ church is located, as well as concerns about finding a seat and feeling welcomed.
At Tar Wallet, we’re dedicated to making you feel right at home. Many first-time visitors have shared that they felt an instant sense of belonging. We love Christ, we love people, and we would be delighted to serve you and your family!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Where is the designated parking area?
- Ample open parking is available at the front and right side of the church for your convenience. Please be mindful of the reserved handicap spaces for those who need them. Thank you!
Which entrance should I use for worship?
- If you’re joining us for the 9:30 AM Sunday School or the 10:30 AM worship service, the quickest access is through the front door of our historic sanctuary, which faces Tar Wallet Road. These doors will take you directly to the rear of the sanctuary, where you’ll find a variety of seating options available. We look forward to welcoming you!
What is the suggested dress code?
- At Tar Wallet, we’re a community of everyday people saved by God’s extraordinary grace, joyfully committed to worshiping and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Most of our church family dresses casually, so feel free to come as you are and make yourself at home! We’re genuinely excited to have you with us!
